Restaurant L'Horizon sur Doazit

It was very, very hot in the Landes region in mid-August! Sophie offered me a spot for my van in the shade under the barn. I was able to cook there, shower in the outdoor toilets, relax in the air-conditioned living room, have cold drinks, and enjoy hearty and excellent breakfasts. Sophie and Miike were very friendly and allowed me to spend two nights in a safe and quiet place. Even though you can hear the road during the day, the nights are quiet. They have animals (goats, chickens, and a cat) and were happy to bring my dog. Thank you to them!

We spent a weekend at the hotel, and the owners were lovely, very helpful and attentive at all times. The rooms were beautiful and spacious.
