The meal: 10/10. The terrace: 4/10.
When you're stuck between two human chimneys chain-smoking without eating, you really don't get to enjoy the flavors.
What a waste for such a good restaurant. A simple reminder of the terrace rules or a smoking/non-smoking separation would make all the difference.

This was our first (and certainly not our last) visit to Lo Cagarol.
The ambiance and decor perfectly suited our taste. We felt very comfortable.
The menu (burrata, bar, or roast pork and cheese) was exquisite and prepared with finesse. Perhaps offering two different, smaller cheeses for dessert would be a nice touch.

A pleasant setting with competent, friendly, and attentive waitresses, all seasoned with a welcome touch of humor. The cuisine is worthy of a gourmet restaurant at reasonable prices. I highly recommend it; you'll have a magical and relaxing time.

We discovered this restaurant two years ago... what a delight! We never tire of it. Everything is perfect... the welcome, the value for money, the food, a superb location in both winter and summer... we enjoy every single meal. Impeccable service! Delicious local cuisine. This is a must-visit if you're in the Minervois region, thanks to the warm welcome, the setting (both inside and on the terrace), and the delicious food.
They don't cut corners here; everything is homemade, and the bill is surprisingly reasonable. Remember to book ahead, it's very popular...

We stopped for lunch during our cycling trip at this incredible place, Lo Cagarol. The food was fantastic—fresh, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious—from starter to main course to dessert. The service was top-notch, and the team and chef were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it; stop by for a delicious meal.
