We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and what a wonderful discovery it was!
The welcome was very warm, and the service was top-notch from start to finish.
The atmosphere is friendly, and the dishes are sophisticated, high-quality, and excellent.

We arrived at Lo Cagarol by chance at 1:20 pm and were very pleased with the welcome, the service, and the meal. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. A great place to eat.

In front of a warm fire in a pleasant room, we spent two hours enjoying drinks and dinner well prepared and cheerfully served. Mussels were small but the portion sufficient to share. My duck yakitori was a tasty fusion. Cathey’s St. Jacques could have been better, served as it was in a deep bowl that didn’t allow the pasta to breathe, a minor but real disappointment. At dessert, I simply asked our server if there was anything chocolate, and chocolate arrived in the form of a gooey lava cake, a scoop of ice cream, and chantilly. All in all, a comfortable and satisfying dining experience. At above 45€ per person, we won’t return often, but we will return.
