We were warmly welcomed and had the pleasure of hearing the chef explain his passion, his goals, his choice of producers and farmers, and his commitment to creating a menu of high-quality, lovingly sourced ingredients. In his quest for perfect flavor, we selected several beautifully presented pieces, each exquisitely showcased by an artist and presented by a delightful team. Excellent lunch and very friendly staff. We were greeted with great professionalism and smiles. We ordered the specials of the day and drank an excellent local wine. I recommend it 100% and hope to return soon!

You won't find a better restaurant in Narbonne. The service was top-notch, the food a dream of regional cuisine, and the wine divine. This was probably the best recommendation we've received from the three angels in Sigean. Thank you!

Had the special: calamari with black pig. On paper, the composition should have been amazing, but unfortunately it fell short.
The calamari itself was perfectly cooked, but the pork was surprisingly lean. Iberico pork is renowned for its rich marbling and fat, yet none of that character came through here. The rice was described as black rice coloured with squid ink, but I suspect it may actually have been cargo or berry rice, both of which have a noticeably sweeter flavour profile.
The dish also seemed reheated rather than freshly finished to order — the rice layer at the bottom was scorching hot, while the top was only lukewarm.
That said, I completely understand why the place is popular. The décor is fantastic, the presentation is elegant, and both the wine list and beer selection were excellent. That’s ultimately why I landed on 4 stars rather than 3.

A vibrant place steeped in history, with decor that perfectly complements it! The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the chef (the owner) makes a point of greeting each table 😎
