Restaurant L'Océanide sur Saint-Pierre-D'Oleron

They're very nice in the afternoon but they get grumpy as soon as things get busy... What a shame!

A cool spot right on the beach. Good selection of drinks and fair prices. And simply not as "stuffy" as many other bars/restaurants. It's just fun to sit there in the sun, have a drink, and look out at the sea. There are also two food stalls (similar to mobile chip stands) on the premises where you can get delicious crepes and, from 6 pm onwards, fries. We really enjoyed going there.
