The welcome was truly lovely, the tartares and ravioli were absolutely delicious, and what can I say about the ice cream! Thank you for a wonderful time!!

Good experience and very attentive service, without being intrusive. Tartares isn't overly generous and doesn't accept Amex, which is a shame!

Subtle, everything is homemade, the cooking is done right in front of you on the other side of the counter, in a calm atmosphere. Small dining room, so reservations are recommended.

Everything was perfect. The food, of course, but also the service and the setting. I will definitely come back.

With its patchwork of wood paneling and delicate tableware, Mandoobar is an island of refinement. Seated at the U-shaped counter under a branch-shaped lamp, you can watch chef Kim Kwang-loc slice, dice, and remove the famous "mandoo" from his steamers: ultra-light Korean dumplings filled with lacto-fermented kimchi, vegetables, soy-sesame marinated beef, or bulgogi. Besides these addictive morsels, Kim also serves fresh soy-scallion-radish salads arranged like delicate little gardens, perfectly balanced beef and fatty tuna tartares, and, to accompany them, a soup or a bowl of rice. Enough to feast joyfully while sipping the foam from a Max beer (€4) or sipping a superb semi-fermented Korean tea, ceremoniously served (€7). Before giving in, of course, to a scoop (yes, just one) of homemade sorbet that evening, a stunning grapefruit-pepper.
