I went back to this restaurant yesterday; I hadn't been for years, and the taste and quality are still excellent.
No complaints whatsoever; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The menu is minimalist, and all the dishes and seasonings are perfectly executed.

Dining at Mandoobar is a truly exceptional experience. Everything is delicious, refined, and delicate. The dishes are prepared with exquisite subtlety right before your eyes. It's a silent ballet where everyone plays their part with dexterity. A soothing calm pervades the place. The staff is charming, smiling, and attentive. We adore this place and the people who work there.

Good experience and very attentive service, without being intrusive. Tartares isn't overly generous and doesn't accept Amex, which is a shame!

With its patchwork of wood paneling and delicate tableware, Mandoobar is an island of refinement. Seated at the U-shaped counter under a branch-shaped lamp, you can watch chef Kim Kwang-loc slice, dice, and remove the famous "mandoo" from his steamers: ultra-light Korean dumplings filled with lacto-fermented kimchi, vegetables, soy-sesame marinated beef, or bulgogi. Besides these addictive morsels, Kim also serves fresh soy-scallion-radish salads arranged like delicate little gardens, perfectly balanced beef and fatty tuna tartares, and, to accompany them, a soup or a bowl of rice. Enough to feast joyfully while sipping the foam from a Max beer (€4) or sipping a superb semi-fermented Korean tea, ceremoniously served (€7). Before giving in, of course, to a scoop (yes, just one) of homemade sorbet that evening, a stunning grapefruit-pepper.
