It was great, from the server to the chef, from the aperitif to the dessert. Too bad for us that he's going to experience a new adventure elsewhere, but good for him... it was really good!

We booked a table, arrived on time, no one greeted us, we sat down ourselves, but the administrator didn’t like the fact that we chose the table ourselves and moved us to another table, where we couldn’t fit, although our weight is 50 kg, there were people sitting next to us, everyone were on their heads, everyone had outerwear under their butts, what kind of service is this????? Why didn’t anyone write that in a restaurant with such a rating, everyone sits on everyone’s heads??? We asked for a menu, asked, “sprechen Sie deutche?” The manager made a face and left, we sat for 15 minutes, got up and left.

Great discovery, small restaurant, 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts on the simple and efficient menu, everything is fresh and cooked well, flavor and cooking at the top, service also. Beautiful wine list

25/09/2024: Having classes right next door, I was able to eat there many lunches, the quality of the meals is always there and the employees always chat with customers with good humor and a good touch of humor. As a bonus, the small promotional offer adapted to student budgets, go there with your eyes closed.

16/12/2024: We were very excited when they were able to fit us in last minute. We spent $83.10 euros between my partner and I; this included 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, and 2 entrees. Which for the quality of the meal, I think it was well worth the splurge. I ordered the Riesling with an onion tart and the chicken entree. All of which were fantastic! The chicken came with a delicious cheese sauce. My partner ordered the beer/picon, escargot and jambonneau. The crust on the jamonneau was so dang good. I tried to take nibble whenever he’d let me 🤣. Personally, not a fan of escargot but this was far better than the last time I tried it. Overall, we had a great time! Got to mingle with the group of locals sat next to us - bit of a language barrier but laughing is a universal language.
11/12/2024: El lugar es pequeño, las mesas se aprietan una contra otra, el volumen es alto y la comida es tan clásica alsaciana como se pone. Al igual que los verdaderos bouchons en Lyon o los pequeños bougnat bistrots en París, o amas u odias estos lugares... Nos encantan y nos lo pasamos genial. A debe tratar de ver lo que es un verdadero winstub
