The friendliest treatment we received on our trip. Without speaking French, Spanish, or English, the owner found ways to make us feel very welcome with his courtesy and kindness. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing Kebabs. We came absolutely famished and left completely full. The people working here are very very nice and have great energy. They even offered us some Turkish tea and halva in the end en gratis after we paid. Highly recommend this place.

I think this is the only place in Paris where I've found fresh, beautifully brewed tea. Their sandwiches are also excellent.

22/04/2026: If I were to die tomorrow, I would want it to happen at The Upper! Otherwise, it's where I would want to be reincarnated. There is no more pleasant place on Earth, to my knowledge, and if we accept that God is the origin of all things, well, I can guarantee you that He must have spent much more time perfecting this place! Not content with making it a heavenly earthly stopover, He even left two of His most efficient, faithful, adorable, and kind angels here. Indeed, you will undoubtedly have the chance to be welcomed by Laurie or Gabrielle, and that's when everything will become clear to you... your day will then be filled with happiness and joy, and you will understand that there is only one place that is truly worthwhile: The Upper.
19/04/2026: The location is excellent, easy to access, the food was simple for us (tapas, fries, meat...) and the atmosphere was really good.

09/04/2026: We arrived early and although it was difficult to get a table, the incredibly nice staff arranged a cozy little space for us. The food was French and really good. We left with full bellies. Thank you.
27/03/2026: Good food, partly from the southwest. The beef cheek was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the ceviche was very good.
