Restaurant Palmier D'or sur Villeurbanne

Too bad, I ordered a plate with bulgur wheat over the phone, it was confirmed, and in the end I paid full price even though the bulgur wheat wasn't on my plate. It had been a long time since I'd ordered from there, well, I guess I'll continue not ordering from there 😅😅

Without exaggerating, I mean it, wow! The service, wow! The kebab, wow! Everything! Actually, I was there and thought, why not? I keep going back, I have to, it's so good! The Gruyère sauce with the cream cheese and the white sauce... the chef has so much experience, you can taste it from the first bite. And the prices are so affordable! I'm blown away by this taco! I'll definitely be back to try it again!

I've rarely tasted a kebab this good in my life; you can tell it's truly the chef's specialty. The chef greeted us with a smile from beginning to end. The value for money is excellent. It's one of the best kebabs I've ever had, and I highly recommend it.

Passing through Hyères only occasionally, I always make a point of returning to this restaurant (which I discovered by chance, as it's right next to the train station) to treat myself to one of the best tagines I've ever eaten, with mint tea and delicious gazelle horns to finish (is that really reasonable, considering how generous the tagine already was?!). The waitress is very attentive and kind, the place is very pleasant, quiet, and air-conditioned in the summer. I highly recommend it—and I will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic! The best kebab on Cours Lafayette, hands down. It feels like stepping back 15 years; a truly affordable and delicious kebab. The owner is lovely. The storefront isn't much to look at, but don't hesitate, go for it!!
