Restaurant Pass'port sur La Rochelle

A lovely restaurant opposite the port of La Rochelle! Friendly staff, good food, and affordable prices! I highly recommend it.

Le Pass'port is clearly a brasserie in the port of La Rochelle, a very touristy area designed to attract crowds. It's neither a gourmet bistro nor a hidden gem, so don't expect a sophisticated atmosphere. That said, I find some of the reviews a bit harsh. The establishment doesn't pretend to be anything more than a good portside brasserie—simple, a little rustic, but rather authentic in its own way (and that's a good thing!). People come here for classic dishes: burgers, mussels and fries, crêpes, and especially for the location. Personally, I found the food simple and good, with excellent sweet crêpes. The service was friendly, with a fairly young and energetic team. It might not be the ideal place for those seeking a fine dining experience, but for a restaurant located on the port of La Rochelle, I think it holds its own quite well.

Always a pleasure to come to this restaurant. Open on weekends without reservations. The daily special is always excellent and worth discovering. Very reasonable prices. A real treat.

Excellent food, very pleasant waiter with a smile, a rare thing these days. Whenever I can go with my wife, it's our favorite restaurant. The dishes are very flavorful, and for those who are picky, go for quantity over quality. For me, quality is what I prefer, and I highly recommend this great restaurant.

Excellent service, the servers are smiling and friendly, and despite the crowds, the wait isn't very long 🤗 Plus, there's a beautiful view of the port. In short, we had a very pleasant time, thank you! 🤗

Nice spot on the harbour. A good selection of meal deals, i had moules frites, a choc crepe and a beer for €21. Can imagine it being nice to sit outside in warmer weather
