Hello, I stopped by for lunch and wanted to share my experience. I had the pleasure of serving an extremely kind and helpful woman with glasses. I've rarely seen someone so dedicated to their work, and it was truly refreshing. She gave excellent advice, qualities that are becoming increasingly rare these days. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

As a tourist, I've rarely experienced such friendly and helpful staff in France. That's why I love having lunch here whenever we're in Strasbourg. The value for money, especially with the set menus, is excellent, and for just €1 more, you can get a coffee and a macaron. But besides the pastries, the best thing is definitely the staff. One very outgoing and warm lady explains things to me in French so well and in such detail that I understand everything, even though I don't speak French. It's always a real pleasure. Other staff members are also very friendly and speak good English, so there are no problems for tourists.

I didn't know what to eat. You immediately offered me several options and presented the menu. You were extremely friendly and communicative. I immediately thought, "I don't think she's French," because it's very difficult to receive good service in France. I was pleasantly surprised by your kindness, as it's truly rare to experience such a warm welcome in France.

I love coming to Paul Rivetoile for a coffee. It's the only place where I can find truly good milk foam! Plus, the service is always exceptional. A big thank you to the lady at the reception for her kindness and good humor: you always greet us with a smile and you know how to share that with your customers. It's a real pleasure to come to your place!

13/07/2026: We discovered this establishment with anticipation, but our experience was somewhat mixed. --- 🍷 The service could be improved. Regarding the wine, the waitress didn't offer convincing recommendations. It's perfectly understandable not to be knowledgeable, but in this case, it would be better to ask a colleague for advice rather than offering uncertain suggestions. We also had a small error in our order that unfortunately wasn't corrected. 🔉The atmosphere changes with the arrival of a DJ around 8 pm. While some might appreciate the more festive atmosphere, we found the volume a bit too loud for comfortable conversation at our table. 🌮 As for the food, the tapas are good, simple, and well-prepared, without being particularly memorable. 🌳 Finally, we found it a shame that the air conditioning was running even with the windows open. - - - In the end, the establishment has potential, but several aspects could be improved to make the experience more enjoyable. In the meantime, we still feel a touch of nostalgia for the old XX bar.
07/07/2026: Very good restaurant, the meat is good quality and well cooked, the fries too, the prices are really reasonable.

02/07/2026: I ordered an excellent cheese pide to go today, and it was served very quickly (less than 10 minutes, which was a huge help as I was in a hurry). The bread was perfect, the topping of raw vegetables and cheese was delicious, and the portion was more than generous (I couldn't finish it all in one sitting!). The staff were very friendly too. I'm very satisfied; thank you for saving my lunch break :)
17/06/2026: A good cappuccino. I can recommend it.
