As always, this restaurant remains warm, clean, and respectful, with menus accessible to all. A variety of dishes and set menus are offered, with generous portions and dishes prepared with finesse. The pepper stew is so perfectly cooked that you can't even find the skin, the potato gratin has just the right amount of cream, and the mango sauce for the duck breast is an absolute must-try. I would advise ordering the rare escalope to fully appreciate it. And for dessert? The crème brûlée—melting, airy, and light, made by the owner herself—is simply divine.
While in Calstelnau for a match, we stopped for a delicious treat and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you, madam, for your warm welcome and the banoffee pie 😊
The dining room is very plain, a little dreary for my taste. The service is adequate, though a bit slow to start (40 minutes between my arrival and the main course).
However, the food itself is a triumph that justifies the wait. The fish was sublime. Finally, the owner, who served us, is very friendly and attentive.
