Restaurant Pizzeria La Cigale sur Les Baux-De-Provence

02/05/2026: We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and were absolutely delighted! Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, the location idyllic! We stayed again this month, and this time I'm much more ambivalent. The reception staff were incredibly cold! I felt like I was bothering the young woman… a smile? Optional! We didn't feel welcome at all… I had to pay for the entire stay before even getting the keys (even though I had provided bank authorization… and we had planned dinner and possibly other extras!). A second payment was required at the end of our stay…. Once we were settled in, we had to change rooms due to a technical issue (a small gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated…). The dinner was good, and the waitresses in the restaurant (unlike those at reception) did their best to make it a pleasant experience! It wouldn't take much to relive what we experienced a few years ago.

29/04/2026: A lovely establishment, just a 2-3 minute drive from Les Baux-de-Provence. Beautiful room, excellent service and staff. 😀 Magnificent garden with trees, unfortunately full of mosquitoes at sunset 😔
