I'm very picky when it comes to restaurants, and La Fournaise is one of the few places where I know in advance that I'm going to have a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is simple and family-friendly, the restaurant doesn't look like much... but what a great find! The Italian cuisine is truly excellent. A sure bet, which I recommend without hesitation.

We stopped along the way and didn't regret our choice. The chef is very friendly; you can tell he loves his job and enjoys making people happy through his cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Everything was delicious! Perhaps the only slight drawback was the portion size for the children, but otherwise, everything was perfect.
