As promised to the owner, here's a quick note to say how warmly and humorously we were received during the rigging's stopover in Sète. And both of our dinners were excellent and generous. Thank you for these wonderful moments.

We came to eat at Portofino because we love Italian food and Italy. We weren't disappointed; the burrata salad and the veal escalope were delicious, not to mention the Italian white wine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Italian cuisine; the dishes are flavorful and the service is pleasant. You can really taste the quality of what's offered. However, a major drawback is the portion sizes, especially the lasagna, which was far too small… a shame considering the taste. We then went to Iso Bella restaurant where the portions were much more generous. We would gladly return, as it's good, but only if the portion sizes are increased.

So, the pizza was really nothing special... I'm almost certain the dough was industrially produced, and the rest of the ingredients were the same... In fact, everything was industrially produced, or at least pre-made products... In my opinion, the pizza maker doesn't do much himself... The dining area is like a cafeteria, no background music, nothing... In short, disappointed.
