Restaurant République Côté Jardin sur Nantes

In short: everything was perfect! We ate at this restaurant for our graduation ceremony with our families. There were 47 of us, and we were lucky enough to have the entire restaurant to ourselves. This allowed us to move around freely and enjoy a truly convivial atmosphere. The restaurant manager was excellent, from the organization and communication to his ability to adapt to small last-minute changes (an extra guest, a change in table layout, non-alcoholic drinks that weren't on the menu, etc.). As for the meal, the food was truly delicious and plentiful. We were offered a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €35, with three options for each person, which was a really nice touch. We absolutely had no complaints; don't hesitate to go there for a group!

A simple yet varied menu; the dishes are well-balanced and perfectly suited to vegetarians, with a vegetarian and a fish option available today. A well-thought-out daily menu! Plenty of choice, very generous portions, and fresh! Unbeatable value for money in my opinion 😉 Special mention for the attentive service, good humor, and energy. Thank you for this experience.

Excellent restaurant, homemade food, top-notch staff!

Excellent place for dinner. Although the menu wasn't huge, what I ate was absolutely delicious. A big thank you to the waiter who explained everything and gave us great advice on choosing our food and wine. The atmosphere was comfortable and quiet. Very good value for money.

After a friendly and attentive welcome and a single-course meal (we were in a hurry), we were surprised to receive a bill for 69 euros... when each course was 22 euros and there were two of us. In the end, after my initial surprise, it turned out that the quarter-liter of rosé wine by the carafe had been changed to a half-liter at 23 euros, even though I was the only one ordering it. I pointed this out to the waitress, who admitted her mistake. I reminded her that I had only had one glass, that I wanted to pay for the quarter-liter, but there was no gesture of goodwill other than offering a free hot drink later! What's more, she had already made a mistake on the bill and brought us another one. I must admit that the half-liter of ordinary rosé at 23 euros, making it 46 euros per liter, really stuck in my craw. It's a shame because the place is nice, though not very welcoming. The meat was very good, but the fries were reheated multiple times.

While traveling in the area, I stopped for lunch at the restaurant. To my surprise, the food was very good and the service impeccable. I highly recommend it.

The presentation and taste were exquisite. A truly excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. You can go there without hesitation.

A restaurant that blends tradition and modernity. It's a serious establishment, and you can feel the passion evident in its dedication to championing French cuisine. Everything was excellent, without exception. The service was also good, with just the right amount of attentiveness. Very good value for money. A must-try, and I'll definitely be back.
