A wonderful discovery. A warm welcome, delicious and very generous portions of traditional dishes. We will definitely be back.

The food is delicious, the staff very friendly, and what can we say about the atmosphere? Music and good cheer are the order of the day, the owner is a fantastic entertainer, a guaranteed successful evening, we love it!

This is my third time at Geisstuewel, and each time we receive a wonderful welcome in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service is professional (you can tell they love what they do), the ingredients are high-quality, and the dishes are carefully prepared and full of flavor. We'll be back soon to try their signature dish: slow-cooked veal. (In the photos: the shrimp casserole as a starter, and for dessert, fresh lemon crème brûlée – prepare to be surprised!)

My husband and I were introduced to S'geisstuewel by his former boss. I love it! The ambiance, the music, and especially the food! The staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. You immediately sense that you're in the hands of professionals! Everything was perfect this evening. Clean, atmospheric, fun, and above all, delicious! We opted for the multi-course menu. Each course was absolutely fantastic. We've visited many restaurants in various countries and also locally, but this restaurant was by far the best! I've simply fallen in love with S'geisstuewel! I'm a big fan of Alsatian ambiance and older buildings. The music that accompanied us so pleasantly could have been from my own playlist. Thank you so much, and we hope to return soon. Excellent. We had lunch there on Thursday, November 20, 2025, with friends—nine of us. We always receive a warm welcome. I chose the beautiful peeled shrimp cooked in a cast-iron casserole with garlic—quite a lot of garlic! The dish was beautifully presented, the shrimp were cooked to perfection, tender yet not overcooked, not mushy, and well-seasoned with garlic. It was delicious, a real treat. My friends chose the sea bream—large sea bream—or the bull stew, or the Black Angus ribeye, or the lamb shank… no complaints, they all enjoyed their meals. The dishes were accompanied by roast potatoes, pasta, spätzle… The desserts were also a hit, especially the apple tart. Excellent value for money ------- Excellent We had lunch there on Thursday, November 21, 2024, with friends (10 people). It was busy, but not too noisy. The lamb shank confit with spices, served with potatoes and vegetables, was perfectly cooked, very flavorful, and excellent. The lemon dessert was like a crème brûlée, and the blood orange sorbet was also very good. -------------------------- Excellent We had lunch there on Thursday, November 10, 2022, with friends (8 people). We received a very warm welcome. The dining room is nicely decorated, though a bit noisy when it's full. The lamb shank with seasonal vegetables was perfectly cooked; the meat was tender, melt-in-your-mouth, and flavorful—excellent. The sauerkraut with five different meats was also very good, the kidneys were excellent, the grilled pike-perch fillet was very good, etc… Not a single flaw, the dishes were quite generous and excellent. Mango and raspberry sorbet, French toast with clementines and mandarin sorbet, warm plum soup with vanilla ice cream, etc… Very good. For wine: Saint-Véran white and Rasteau, perfect to accompany this delicious meal. Excellent value for money. Pleasant service, with a smile… Thank you to the whole team, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a very pleasant time at this restaurant; we enjoyed our visit. The food was very good, a little pricey, but the quality is definitely there.
