Dinner on the evening of March 7, 2026. A surprising starter (rolled shellfish with citrus). A tender and perfectly cooked piece of meat accompanied by a gratin dauphinois with meltingly tender potatoes. A dessert of "Breton shortbread with citrus" which was unfortunately too tart for my taste; I would have liked to taste the shortbread more. Nevertheless, very satisfied, 5 stars without hesitation.

This restaurant is a true Proustian madeleine and a beautiful tribute to French cuisine. Cloth tablecloths and napkins, a spacious table for two, well away from the other diners (a welcome change from establishments that try to cram as many tables as possible into the place). A fresh flower adorns the table, a small glass of wine is offered as an amuse-bouche, and the frogs' legs are served in two courses to prevent them from getting cold. As a big cheese fan, I rarely order cheese in restaurants, because a simple plate of three cheeses from Metro doesn't exactly inspire... but here, it was impossible to resist! The waiter arrives with a proper cheese trolley so you can create your own plate from an excellent selection. We had already eaten well, but why be sensible? We chose dessert. And we were right to do so: they were excellent! As for the service, we were attended to by a waiter with a contagious smile, who orchestrated the meal with joy while remaining discreet. In short, we had a delightful time. Thank you!

Every dish, from appetizer to dessert, was flavorful, exquisitely prepared, and enjoyed by all the guests.
