Restaurant U Molu sur Porto-Vecchio

A very nice restaurant, the welcome is always very friendly and the servers are very pleasant and kind. The food is always excellent. My favorite is the Bellagio spritz, which is absolutely delicious; I highly recommend it.

Avoid ordering a poké bowl; the ingredients and seasoning were bland, the rice was dry, and the pineapple wasn't fresh and looked like it came from a can. And the radishes? Don't even get me started. At €20, the dish was quite expensive for what it was. However, the waitress was fantastic and very kind, which had nothing to do with the food.

Great experience. Thank you especially for offering real salmon and chips on the children's menu. It's fantastic. Ideally, expanding the vegetarian option would be great.

The cocktails were excellent, the daily special (tuna with mixed vegetables and rice chips) was perfect, and the Caesar salad was generous and very good. The welcome and service were also very good. I highly recommend this place.

We had a really enjoyable dinner here. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the marina made for a lovely setting, especially as the sun was going down. The starters were the highlight of the meal. They took familiar ingredients and gave them just enough of a twist to make them stand out. My favourite was the leek mosaic wrapped in nori — an unexpected combination that worked surprisingly well. The presentation across all the dishes was thoughtful without feeling overdone, and every starter had its own personality. The mains were a little different. They were well prepared, generous, and made with good ingredients, but they played it much safer than the starters. Very enjoyable, just not quite as inventive. The service was warm and genuine. We especially enjoyed chatting with one of the staff members who had visited our part of the world, which added a nice personal touch to the evening. Overall, a restaurant with good food, a beautiful marina view, friendly service, and a relaxed holiday atmosphere. We'd gladly return and would probably order even more starters next time.

What a shame, I expected better. The menus aren't up to date. The welcome was appalling, the service disastrous; we may have just had the worst waiter in the restaurant. I gave the food a 5, though, as the dishes were very good and very tasty. The setting, with its view of the port, was idyllic, but the service ruined everything. The prices are very high. Philippe
