Restaurant Vatel sur Paris

Dinner at the Vatel restaurant, the hotel school’s training restaurant. Nice welcome, well decorated restaurant. The tableware is elegant. The cutlery has not been vinegared so there are water stains. The cuisine is of high quality, the dishes are copious, well prepared, and the cooking is well done. The downside of the meal is the service. Full room with students who do not appear to be supervised by table. No request for food allergies from the table, errors in the serving of dishes, water, wine, clearing worthy of a canteen by taking the plate, then the cutlery over the customers' arms and putting the cutlery anyhow on the cleared plate... so impossible to take more than two etc... A room manager who did not come to our table of 8 people throughout the dinner. Repeated service errors are neither seen nor corrected. A short questionnaire at the end of the meal or sending it by e-mail would be a good thing to bring the customer's perspective to the training of young students, in order to guide them towards excellence. What we expect from a hotel school.

Thank you again for this exceptional evening. We celebrated our six years of marriage last night (09/20/24) at your home. For six years it has been impossible to find a place nice enough to celebrate this happiness. I think we finally succeeded! We will definitely come back next year and the others on the same date! The meal was excellent, the silky wine, the desserts and the cheese to melt! The attentive staff and the young woman who served us always had a kind and funny word. Honestly I recommend with my eyes closed!

Amazing experience for the price. Very friendly and professional staff who even printed the menu in English for me and my friends.

Les plats sont joliment mis en valeur et gouteux. Bonnes cuissons des viandes . Les quantités mériteraient d'être un peu plus généreuses. Le festival des dessert est un vrai régal des papilles.

A wonderful choice to spend a birthday evening in this very pleasant place...and faultless for the welcome of the students, their kindness, their efficiency and their availability, the quality of the service and the cuisine with I really fell in love with this incredible farandole of desserts which came at just the right time for this event! Delighted to have trusted chance and my intuition for the choice of the Vatel restaurant which really deserves to be known in a pleasant and easily accessible district of Paris. The students were very attentive and very professional, mixing their activity with their smile as well as pleasant exchanges and the cuisine cooked on site is really quality, especially when it can be accompanied by good wines and excellent champagne! A big CONGRATULATION to the students and their supervisors for contributing to the success of this evening...I would like to introduce this place to other friends and I will come back with great pleasure! Happy end of the school year and good success in your exams...you deserve it!

Went twice in 2022. Once June 2024. I love this place. The food is fantastic. The staff is amazing. They are all of them so professional and eager. You can't miss with Vatel.

This restaurant is a real discovery! The dishes are good, the service is impeccable, special mention to the desserts.
