Restaurant Villa Rene Lalique sur Wingen-Sur-Moder

The Villa Lalique restaurant is located in a modern, fully glazed extension with stunning views of the surrounding nature. Lalique crystal glass is, of course, omnipresent, but without appearing ostentatious or overdone. Chef Paul Stradner and his team conjure up visually stunning, but above all, sensationally flavorful dishes. Sometimes delicate flavors are combined (sea bream with carrot), but also bolder ones, like pigeon with Black Forest cherry tart. And the pumpkin seed butter! And a dessert featuring cocoa beans... Incredibly precise and delicious! The wine pairings are also outstanding. One can only wonder: Where is the third Michelin star? The service is naturally friendly, never intrusive or snobbish, but always absolutely professional. It's a nice touch that the chef himself makes the rounds of the restaurant towards the end of the meal to chat with the guests. We had a perfect evening and thanks to the free shuttle we were happily chauffeured to the Hotel Chateau Hochberg.

This exceptional restaurant is a place outside of time… Everything is perfect: the location (a magnificent setting), the service (incredibly attentive and professional), and of course, the food is absolutely superb. At this level, it's art. High-end gastronomy…

The best Michelin-starred restaurant in Alsace. We came for a lunch with the "young adult" menu at Villa René Lalique. We've already experienced several Michelin-starred restaurants thanks to this offer, but for us, Villa Lalique is by far the best we've ever had. The meal was excellent from start to finish. We appreciated the chef taking risks to introduce us to new but delicious flavors using ingredients that are sometimes overlooked (salsify, Jerusalem artichoke, etc.), all beautifully served and presented. A special mention goes to the service; the broom-like movements are exquisitely executed. It's a pleasure to see how meticulously everything is executed. Yet the atmosphere is convivial; you can feel the relaxed, smiling staff, who are always ready to share a lighthearted remark. How pleasant! Just one small suggestion to make the experience even more perfect for future guests: with the "young adult" menu, wines are included, but we would have appreciated being able to taste them before being served. We will gladly return.

A very pleasant moment for our wedding anniversary

We were invited to this wonderful place full of surprises. Excellent meals awaited us, the staff were incredibly attentive, and we were delighted to spend our afternoon in this magnificent setting.

The setting is perfect, the decor is sublime, and the rooms are superb. In the restaurant, the staff perform a delightful ballet of service with extraordinary kindness and professionalism. As for the menu, our taste buds were delighted by the flavors. We had an extraordinary time in a haven of tranquility. Thank you to the entire team.
