One of my best experiences: a restaurant with antique decor, a zen atmosphere with background music, perfect service (the waitress was attentive to our comfort and well-being and always had a smile), and an excellent, generous meal. I highly recommend it! I will definitely return.

Excellent food to enjoy without moderation

An exceptional and excellent place in every respect. Despite arriving late without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed. The service was very pleasant and efficient, and we were never rushed. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the amuse-bouche to the petit fours! We will definitely be back!

A delightful interlude in the Alsace Bossue region. Ideally located near the A4 motorway exit, Le Windhof restaurant in Burbach was a true discovery during our Sunday lunch. This establishment offers a truly successful gourmet getaway, perfect for discovering the charms of the Alsace Bossue region or for a stop along the crystal route. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the restaurant's spacious and welcoming dining room. The tables, thoughtfully spaced, ensure the privacy of each guest, even when the restaurant is hosting large family groups. The intimate atmosphere, combined with a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside, invites relaxation and enjoyment. The remarkably efficient service was particularly warm and attentive throughout the meal. The menu, created using fresh, seasonal produce, delighted us. The perfect egg and duck foie gras set the tone for the first course: a mastery of cooking and flavors that was simply flawless. The main course confirmed this initial impression. The veal, accompanied by baby vegetables, was exceptionally tender. The quality of the meat, its precise cooking, and its flavorful sauce made it a truly memorable dish, so melt-in-your-mouth tender it could be cut with a fork. To conclude this delightful meal, the desserts were equally impressive. The intensely chocolatey, perfectly gooey cake, and the revisited "zupa inglese" (English pudding) added a touch of sweetness and creativity that was much appreciated. In short, our lunch at Windhof was a flawless culinary experience. We highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of its cuisine, its pleasant atmosphere, and its impeccable service.

Hello, I went to this restaurant for the first time with an invitation from friends. We had the dish of the day. Two out of four people did not want the starter. It was impossible for the waiter to offer us anything else. Very disappointed with this supposedly classy restaurant. I will not return.

It's always a pleasure to eat at this restaurant. Quality and fast service at lunchtime. Close to the A4 motorway. I recommend it.
