Very good address in downtown Saintes. Always homemade and delicious dishes! Very pleasant blends of flavors and a cocooning atmosphere. The welcome is warm! I recommend!

Superb discovery. Very nice place located in the pedestrian streets of Saintes. The value for money is great. We tasted the pies and salad of the day. A killer both in terms of flavors and textures! Ps: special mention for the welcome 😉

A great little independent restaurant - with lots of quirky art on the walls. I really enjoyed my Tomato Quiche (called Tart on the menu), and my friend enjoyed his salad, with a mix of green and red grapes. The desserts were also very good - we both had the chocolate fondant. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff too!

A very nice lunch break! The welcome is great, especially with a young child. We ate very well there, everything is homemade, minimalist menu with fresh produce. The mixed salad and desserts were really very good!

Un petit restaurant du centre historique de Saintes, mais une immense qualité! Tous les plats sont faits maison. La carte est restreinte, mais les produits sont excellents. Nous avon pris la formule « pause déjeuner » (entrée -plat-dessert) à 22€ et n’avons été déçu ni par les quantités ni par la qualité des mets. Les gâteaux, notamment, sont délicieux. Pour ne rien gâcher, l’accueil est fort sympathique. Nous conseillons vivement!

Tout y est parfait. Le service, les tartes, la bière locale… mais ce qui dépasse de loin cette perfection, ce sont les desserts. Le moelleux aux noisettes accompagné d’une boule de glace au caramel est tout simplement une tuerie !

19/09/2024: A cuisine revealing the perfectionism of the chef and his team, perfect balance between texture and flavors, rare know-how, thank you chef. The service; Correct “French” without any particular friendliness. Except for one pleasant waitress, thanks to her and the chef. The rest is a bit factory.

07/10/2024: This is perhaps my favorite restaurant during my stay in Charente Maritime. We stopped there, my partner and I by chance. There were lots of people on the terrace. A smiling lady showed us where to sit. I had a plate of charcuterie. To the taste, everything seemed homemade. A duck terrine, slices of chorizo, country ham, a piece of bacon and foie gras. This plate was hearty and smelled good of the land. Then, a skewer of beef steak. A real delight with tender and tasty meat. My companion had a hearty Périgourdine salad in which she discovered a piece of foie gras. She then had some blood sausage with mash and caramelized apples. The dish was appetizing. After a short walk in Saintes we came back for a coffee and chatted with the entire team. I loved this moment. These people were very friendly and we discussed the work and what was being done and offered in our region of Saône et Loire. I particularly recommend this establishment.
