Res'thé Manger sur Saintes

A great little independent restaurant - with lots of quirky art on the walls. I really enjoyed my Tomato Quiche (called Tart on the menu), and my friend enjoyed his salad, with a mix of green and red grapes. The desserts were also very good - we both had the chocolate fondant. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff too!

A very nice lunch break! The welcome is great, especially with a young child. We ate very well there, everything is homemade, minimalist menu with fresh produce. The mixed salad and desserts were really very good!

Delicious quiches and salads. But above all, don't deprive yourself of dessert. They are to die for... what's more, the welcome is smiling and charming. Go for it !

Un petit restaurant du centre historique de Saintes, mais une immense qualité! Tous les plats sont faits maison. La carte est restreinte, mais les produits sont excellents. Nous avon pris la formule « pause déjeuner » (entrée -plat-dessert) à 22€ et n’avons été déçu ni par les quantités ni par la qualité des mets. Les gâteaux, notamment, sont délicieux. Pour ne rien gâcher, l’accueil est fort sympathique. Nous conseillons vivement!

Tout y est parfait. Le service, les tartes, la bière locale… mais ce qui dépasse de loin cette perfection, ce sont les desserts. Le moelleux aux noisettes accompagné d’une boule de glace au caramel est tout simplement une tuerie !

An address where we come and above all...where we return! All year round, a regular clientele lunches there for the quality of the dishes and the warm atmosphere that exudes in this establishment. Depending on the season, soups, salads, savory tarts and excellent desserts, homemade and made with fresh produce, are served for our greatest taste pleasure. When the sunny days come, the quiet terrace allows you to enjoy the tranquility of the place. Tourists partially replace regulars for summer holidays; invited by the backpacker's guide who makes no mistake in recommending the address every year. For several years I have enjoyed eating there as often as possible, during my lunch break.
