A very nice rest area, both in terms of layout and parking. Good value for money. Clean facilities and amenities. Very welcoming and friendly staff. A very good experience!

A very pleasant surprise for a dinner stop at a motorway service area (Vendée region), where you don't usually find quality food. Here, the ingredients are simple, but the hot dishes are well-prepared, fresh, and appetizing (the starter buffet is very nice). The dining room is clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly.

Le Pub Des Halles

15/05/2026: First of all it is advisable to book. I went today and it was packed with both French and English. I had to sit outside as I hadn't booked which is why.only 1 star for atmosphere. It looked lively though. It was so good to get HOT food which I think is not always the case elsewhere. I had the onion rings which were cooked perfectly followed by the beef and guiness pie with chips. Portions werf good. Having lived in France for 32 years, I miss a good old meat pie and this didn't disappoint. All in all a good lunch. The coffee was a tad too strong for me but that is down to taste. Would I vislit again - yes.
28/04/2026: A delicious lunch served by friendly staff in a picturesque square, a truly enjoyable addition to our holiday afternoon.
