We have nothing but positive things to say about this establishment. My partner and I spent two nights there on the half-board basis, and everything was simply excellent. The value for money is unbeatable. The room was comfortable, the welcome incredibly friendly, and best of all: the food. In addition to being delicious, the portions were very generous. After checking out, we simply had to come back for lunch 🤣 Mr. Alex is truly passionate about his work. The entire team is very welcoming. The setting is magnificent with a breathtaking view. Our cat was also very well looked after. We will definitely be back. Unlike other establishments, we felt right at home. If you're looking for a pleasant stay in the Tarn region and want to enjoy a truly authentic Aveyron meal, we wholeheartedly recommend "CHEZ ALEX".

From the moment we booked by phone until our departure from the guesthouse, my partner and I were greeted with great respect, kindness, and warmth. It's a very quiet, clean, and pleasant place for a stay in the Tarn region. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and a big thank you for the generous portions of local cuisine. Everything was delicious. Our cat didn't want to leave! :) We can't wait to return. It's clear that Mr. Alex is very passionate about what he does and has assembled a team that shares his passion. That's very rare these days. The name of the establishment was well chosen, because at Alex's, we felt right at home, not in a typical hotel. A wonderful discovery at Alex aux Vignes! 😋 We came to try their aioli and sausage, and frankly, it was a real treat! Delicious food, a very friendly welcome, and very reasonable prices. A place to discover and remember.

We had the opportunity to eat there for lunch today, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming! We had a lovely time; the atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. A pleasant aperitif break by the river. A pint of Hoogarden (€7.50) was a bit more expensive than in La Malène, but compensated by the friendly waitress.

Just had dinner here and it was pretty good. The aligot is very tasty, you should definitely try it! We seated on the terrace, where you can have a nice view on the Tarn. Staff is very friendly and speaks its fair share of languages. Good wasp management too.

Simply wonderful! Excellent service, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a superb and generous dinner, and a delicious breakfast (a good bowl of coffee or hot chocolate – just what a hiker needs!), a must-see vineyard tour, and all this for a very reasonable price. Thank you for everything!

An ideal place to stay at the end of our hike. Dinner and breakfast were included in the room rate. Both were delicious and very generous portions. The location is perfect, close to the GR hiking trail, and there's a lovely terrace overlooking the Tarn River. I highly recommend it!
