A hidden gem we discovered by chance! Having left Le Puy-en-Velay (Haute-Loire) for Autun, we were delighted with our lunch break at Nicolas's. A warm welcome, excellent service, a generous and delicious buffet for him, and a tasty set menu for her, all at a very reasonable price! The quality is evident thanks to the local produce and the chef's creative flair. We highly recommend it!

Very warm welcome, beautiful setting. Fast and attentive service. Contrary to what I've read, very good value for money. I recommend it. For those who are impatient: go to a restaurant that serves reheated frozen food; you'll be served faster and more expensive. Leave the space for those who appreciate taking their time and enjoying good food.

What a fantastic discovery this restaurant was! The chef created a fabulous menu for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, the staff is incredibly attentive, and the owner is always available, greeting every table! The quality of the food and the wine pairings are excellent! We will definitely be back. It's rare to find such a warm atmosphere with staff who clearly love their work! Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience!

Why only 5 stars? This restaurant deserves more. The welcome, the food, and the service were extraordinary. The atmosphere was friendly. The quality of the dishes was excellent and beautifully presented. Truly a place to share and one that deserves to be better known. I highly recommend it. I would gladly return. Annie and Joël.

Excellent homemade dishes made with local produce, generous portions, and a very reasonable price. €32 for a Sunday lunch, including a starter (foie gras), main course, and dessert, is more than fair. The waitress was very kind, smiling, and polite. The owner was also very friendly and explained the origin of the ingredients. We ate in 1 hour and 30 minutes, which was a perfect length for us. A very good place to eat.

We went there as a group of five on a Sunday at lunchtime, and the restaurant was fantastic. The waiter and owner were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced; I highly recommend it!
