Resto St. Jacques sur Saint-Felix-De-Lodez

Great find thanks to Google on our route, but especially thanks to the well-deserved reviews of Le Saint Jacques. We booked at the last minute without any problems. A slight disappointment, however, that the terrace wasn't offered to us; in fact, we thought it was closed when we arrived—a shame, it looked lovely! My two teenagers opted for the pork ribs and the burger, respectively, which were a hit. I highly recommend the homemade fries (available with or without salad). For my part, I had a rather nice Asian salad. I made a small exception to my vegetarian diet with four small shrimp in the salad. There are very few, if any, meat/fish options on the menu, which is a shame given the quality. The desserts were perfect. A very warm welcome from the entire team. The bill came to 98 euros, including three main courses, three desserts, two drinks, and a coffee. Excellent value for money. I recommend this somewhat hidden local establishment, the antithesis of tourist traps.

The wait was very long, and the rib-eye steaks were a bit tough. At €27 each, you'd expect incredibly tender meat. Either they were understaffed, or they weren't ready for the season, but they were incredibly disorganized. For example, the cook would go to the barbecue to cook, then return to the kitchen on the other side of the restaurant with the platter to garnish. So when it finally arrived... it was cold. It's a shame, because the setting is nice, as are the waitresses.

We had a wonderful time. The meat was particularly delicious, cooked over a wood fire! I had a ribeye steak and my husband had a duck breast; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was very attentive. We'll be back!

Excellent seafood platter. Good quality children's menu. Reasonable prices. Very welcoming and friendly waiters. A very good place, I highly recommend it! It's a shame there wasn't a high chair or changing table.

A truly excellent discovery! Everything was perfect from start to finish: a warm welcome, attentive and professional service, delicious, very generous, and perfectly executed dishes. The setting is truly charming, with a lovely, pleasant, and inviting terrace. The quality is evident in both the cuisine and the overall atmosphere. A restaurant where you'll have a truly wonderful time; we will definitely be back!

A beautiful and welcoming place, from the reception to the service, including the kitchen where the chefs perfectly master their craft and cooking techniques. We opted for the Easter menu, a true delight from appetizer to dessert. Bravo, I highly recommend it.
