I tried Restaurant U Gallia very early when I arrived in Strasbourg, and even after 5 years, it remains the most chic university restaurant in the city in my opinion. The atmosphere is clean and modern, the space is well organized, and the overall experience feels more premium than typical CROUS restaurants. I’ve always had a good feeling about this place. It’s also ideally located near the Bibliothèque nationale et universitaire de Strasbourg (BNU) and close to Alinea, which makes it very convenient for students spending the day studying in the city center.

The university restaurant is more than adequate.

The starters are varied, with protein salads such as ham, tuna, salmon, or egg salads, raw vegetables, cheese, etc. The dessert choices are also varied, with delicious fruits, yogurts, pastries, etc. The main courses are also balanced and perfectly seasoned. A vegetarian alternative is always available. In short, a big thank you to this great team.
