University restaurant close to transport (bus and tram), varied menus, it's one of the best in Strasbourg in my opinion and the atmosphere is quite nice.

Okay, but the portion sizes are a disaster. Plates aren't even a quarter full, and even if you ask for more, there's absolutely not enough—it's ridiculous. 3 stars because the desserts are slightly better than in other university restaurants. As for the staff, it's difficult to get a smile or anything friendly out of them, which is a shame.

I tried Restaurant U Gallia very early when I arrived in Strasbourg, and even after 5 years, it remains the most chic university restaurant in the city in my opinion. The atmosphere is clean and modern, the space is well organized, and the overall experience feels more premium than typical CROUS restaurants. I’ve always had a good feeling about this place. It’s also ideally located near the Bibliothèque nationale et universitaire de Strasbourg (BNU) and close to Alinea, which makes it very convenient for students spending the day studying in the city center.

Really quite good, thank you to the chef who is trying to diversify the dishes for vegetarians.

The starters are varied, with protein salads such as ham, tuna, salmon, or egg salads, raw vegetables, cheese, etc. The dessert choices are also varied, with delicious fruits, yogurts, pastries, etc. The main courses are also balanced and perfectly seasoned.
