Restuarant and Bar Christiania sur Les Gets

Truly a home from home. Friendly attentive staff. Excellent food. Perfect location. That's why I keep coming back.

Yet again we enjoyed our stay immensely. The hosts John and Nicola are really friendly and run the hotel very well. We have been coming here for many years now, and every time we visit it feels like home. The location is perfect, food was excellent and staff very attentive.

The location of the Christiana is excellent; a few strides through the hotel garden from the ski room to the piste and a very short walk to the attractive main street of Les Gets. Comfortable, clean accommodation with friendly, attentive staff. Pleasant bar and lounge area with an open fire where tea and cake are served after skiing and delicious suppers, including a fabulous cheese board. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

Upon arrival, we received a warm and welcoming reception from the Scottish owner, John, his wife, and their team. The location is ideal, right at the foot of the slopes and the town center. A heated boot room with a dryer is available, as well as ski lockers. We stayed for 7 nights on a half-board basis. Breakfast was generous, with a choice of savory and sweet English options. Of course, pastries and bread were also available. We enjoyed afternoon tea between 4 and 5 pm, which featured an excellent cake that changed daily. The evenings included a set menu with an amuse-bouche, a choice of three starters, three main courses, a local cheese plate, and three desserts. Everything was different each night, high-quality, and refined, all served in a cozy atmosphere with a crackling wood-burning fireplace. The room was decent, comfortable, and clean—nothing fancy. We were lucky enough to have a view of the slopes. ⛷️ We will definitely return.

A very well-located hotel, very close to the slopes. A very warm and pleasant atmosphere, top-notch service, and an extremely attentive owner. Original and delicious cuisine with a menu that changes every evening.

Another fantastic stay at the Christiania, the location cannot be bettered, only 50m from the main uplift and close to restaurants, bars and shopping in the village. Great welcome by the friendly staff, and the food over the week was exceptional, which when allied with the amazing wine list with great recommendations from John made for a wonderful dining experience. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the dedicated ski storage and heated boot room are a very welcome addition, especially putting on warmed boots at the start of the day. Its why I keep coming back, year after year. I cannot recommnend highly enough.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Christiania. The ski-in, ski-out location is perfect, and being right in town makes everything easily accessible.The food is exquisite each evening, as well as amazing cheese and wine, and afternoon tea by the cosy fire is a lovely touch. The staff are fantastic and make the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!

Although the room was relatively small, this was more than compensated for by the very high level of service and excellent location (genuinely ski in and ski out). We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.
