Ristorante Al Caratello sur Paris

We visited when coming to Paris for the Olympics. The food is exceptional, the flavours and freshness are absolutely outstanding. The staff are super friendly and polite. Highly recommended from a meat eater and a vegetarian.

Not exactly italian, cooking with foreign contaminations. Food just ok... Welcome and hospitality excellent, staff friendly and attentive to every request (who gave a little present for our little girl!).

Absolutely loved this place - friendly service, quality ingredients and very accommodating of children. They modified a carbonara dish for our granddaughter without question. Highly recommended.

Feel like you've hopped over to Italy while in Paris! Wonderful pizza and pasta options at Pizza Caratello. We luckily showed up without reservations and got a table for 2. Anyone in larger groups I'd consider booking as they can get quite busy. Tremendous service, and fresh food.

Friendly and helpful staff. Eating well Italian food in France is not easy and it can be done there! Excellent value for money.

We are Italians who stumbled upon this splendid restaurant in Montmartre by chance, 3 small places next to each other where you can eat pizza or Italian dishes. We were received by Raja who accommodated us even though there were 11 of us. We ordered bruschetta, seafood first courses and typical Italian dishes and we were amazed by the goodness of the dishes... pasta cooked just right and flavors of healthy and refined products. Finally they served us and made us taste coffee with two typical Italian blends... Truly like being at home. Honest prices (low compared to the Paris average) and very kind staff, in particular Raja who followed us throughout the dinner. I really recommend it! 🔝 🇮🇹

Friendly and delicious, you quickly feel at home there. A good neighborhood address

The positive point of the restaurant is clearly the service! The staff are welcoming, smiling and reassuring. The restaurant was full so we had to wait quite a while to be served. We weren't particularly in a hurry so it didn't bother us too much. The starter (burrata and raw ham) was delicious and very well presented. On the other hand, we were a little disappointed by the dishes. The prawn and asparagus risotto lacked asparagus (we couldn't find it...) and only contained prawn carcasses, what a shame! The risotto with scallops and truffles was delicious even if the scallops seemed frozen because they were a little rubbery. Also shop staff who must have sensed that we were disappointed and offered us one of our beers! We still had a good time.
