Ristorante Del Arte Barjouville sur Barjouville

The service was very good, except that in the children's menu I only got the equivalent of 10 gnocchi, which is nothing compared to what they usually serve. My daughter, after eating her gnocchi, asked for another plate. I should have mentioned that the first one was really small to begin with. Anyway, they brought me another plate and charged me five euros more than the children's menu price… which is outrageous. When I went to pay, they had charged me for an appetizer platter that was supposed to be free because it was my birthday last week and I had a voucher valid until April 12th. The cashier couldn't remove it from the computer system and told me, "Exceptionally, I'll remove it manually, but otherwise I shouldn't." Except I told them that my voucher was valid, that I had the card, so it should have gone through. It's really annoying, you have to keep an eye on everything, from the amount on our plates to the receipt at the end…

Never disappointed by any Del Arte

A rather mixed experience: the food is good, even very good, but you have to be patient to get it. There was a service error: they tried to serve us a dish we hadn't ordered, but one of our dishes was served to another table, forcing us to wait while they rushed to recook it. After several requests (and an hour's wait), there was no carafe of water, so we had to serve ourselves. The servers were friendly, however. It's really the organization and communication that need improvement.

We had a wonderful evening with friends at Del Arte. The pizzas were enjoyed by everyone at the table. The calzone seemed a little small, and the ice cream could have been served colder. The dining room is beautiful, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Special mention to Cindy: professional, efficient, and lovely. Thank you for your impeccable service, your smile, and your patience!
