We had an exceptional time during our two stays at the Ritter'hoft, one in winter and the other in summer. The rooms are impeccably equipped, offering quality bedding that guarantees peaceful nights. The hotel stands out for its calm, cleanliness and comfort, creating an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. The breakfast and restaurant are simply remarkable, featuring top quality products. What struck us the most was the incredible hospitality of the Ritter'hoft team. We really feel like home. The warm, family atmosphere adds a touch of conviviality which appealed to us. We recommend this establishment wholeheartedly, but remember to book in advance to guarantee your place.

Dette er et topp hotell med en veldig god restaurant. Etter en lang dag på veien var værelset stort og innbydende, og vi fikk en aperitiff servert i utestuen. Deretter hadde vi et fantastisk måltid med veldig gode viner til.

Discovered by chance, experienced with pleasure! Finding nice accommodation in the Northern Vosges is entirely possible with a little research. But with the Ritter’hofft in Morsbronn we basically hit the bull’s eye. The 3-star hotel is in a fairly quiet location and has newly renovated rooms and a very good restaurant that offers excellent regional country cuisine at moderate prices. For example, duck liver, Scottish salmon or homemade brawn as a starter, sea bream, round fillet or lamb shank as a main course and a cheese plate, fruit cake, sorbet or crème brûlée for dessert. For less than half the price there is a simpler weekly menu that also looked very good. The hosts of the family-run house are friendly (and also speak perfect German...not mandatory, but helpful ;-)), the breakfast is rich. If the omnipresent monumental monuments to the French and German victims of the terrible, loss-making slaughter of 1870 are too martial for you, you will also find peaceful excursion destinations here, which are very well served by a dense network of hiking and cycling paths. And by car there are so many interesting things to discover within a 50 kilometer radius that a single weekend is by no means enough.

Top of the top, we've been going there for years now, whether it's lunch or dinner, everything is perfect. The dishes offered on the menu are delicious from starter to dessert, with friendly service. quality daily specials at a reasonable price, which is becoming rare in the area.

Stepping into this family-run gem with our group of 45 was like coming home—only better, because here, the food's sublime and everyone's welcome, no matter their dietary whims! The team, with their knack for warm welcomes, made organizing our sizeable event seem like a breeze. The menu was a set meal that we chose in advance as we were such a large group. Each dish was a celebration of flavours, crafted with care and a passion for culinary excellence. Trust me, nobody was left wanting! But what's a feast without stellar service? Nothing was too much trouble for this crew. Their thoughtful touches and sharp attention to our needs had us feeling more VIPs.
