Boulangerie Au Bon pain

24/12/2024: The bread is really excellent, always fresh and crispy, a real treat! The pastries are OK, but not exceptional. On the other hand, the pastries are disappointing: lack of taste and finesse. Special mention for the galette des rois which has absolutely no taste of frangipane, which is a shame. On the savory side, it's another story: the savory dishes are generally good, and the fricassees are downright delicious! They are definitely worth the detour.

Cafeteria Cora

03/12/2024: Good morning, Carrefour Garges, formerly Cora, will not take the Carrefour card until next year. So if you want to accumulate Carrefour loyalty points, wait until January. There were only 2 checkouts open at the time I passed, as well as the express checkouts. I'm waiting for January to see if there are any changes between the old Cora and the new Carrefour as they are in transition. The Christmas decorations are nice.
30/11/2024: Carrefour continues the deferred checks, and fortunately, because otherwise we would have had to do our shopping using a calculator! I hope the work will make the store as classy as the one in Bercq, and not just a lick of paint. Because well, with Cora, we had the impression of being Americans... except that we don't have the dollars that go with it. Don't do the same thing to us, eh!
