Rose bakery sur Paris

Absolutely fantastic. Fair prices considering the quality (and the taxes and fees we pay in France).

I read a lot of negative reviews. Personally, I go there quite often. It's true that the prices are a bit high, but I consider my health paramount. Eating fresh, healthy food is important to me. And even when I found it expensive, it was so delicious that I couldn't be disappointed. The variety of dishes is impressive; they never run out of inspiration. When you walk into the shop, you feel a bit like you've stepped into a childhood dream, with a magical feast unfolding before your eyes! I hope this place (and all their branches) will continue to thrive. Among my favorite dishes: - Beetroot crepes stuffed with spinach (and a little ricotta). I tried them once and I still dream about them. - Green tortelloni stuffed with mozzarella-type cheese. I've only tried this once, and it was exceptional: - the "inaris" 🇯🇵 - all their tarts!!! Pecan, chocolate & seeds, pumpkin, strawberries… and recently a panna cotta/black cherry jelly tart: incredible! The lemon-blueberry cookie *** I've also tried once: a cookie with fresh apple, like applesauce, a delight! - the daikon or cabbage fritters - and then, the salads in general. If you look at the ingredients, you'll see that some are expensive (sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, sprouts…). So I'll go back regularly/occasionally depending on my budget!

So yes, Rose Bakery is (rather) expensive. It's located in a trendy, snobbish neighborhood. But I've never eaten such fresh and flavorful (and organic) salads, and personally, I'm a huge fan of their cakes and pastries. So every time I come to Paris, I try to stop by at least once for lunch or an afternoon snack because I always enjoy it. If you want a restaurant experience or inexpensive takeout, there are plenty of other options. I don't really see the point in putting them down just because they're expensive; the prices are displayed, and nobody's forcing you to eat there.

Tried the salads and the rose lemon cake. How can salad be so good (carrot & fennel, roasted carrots, coleslaw with radish)! I will day dream about this. Thankfully didnt see the reviews before going in, otherwise would have missed on this gem. Menu does change but I hope they keep the salads. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We got take out and sat outside to enjoy it.
