Since I was in Paris, I bought some Patrick Roger chocolates, which I'd always wanted. While they're mainly sold in Japan during Valentine's season, they're more affordable in France. ✨ Their signature product, the "Demi-Sphere (Half Dome)," features vibrant colors and an ultra-thin chocolate shell. Its jewel-like beauty is truly captivating. From their representative green "Amazon" and white "Sauvage" to their creative fillings using lime, yuzu, and other fruits, each piece offers a different flavor, which is another appealing aspect.

Located very close to the Madeleine Church is Patrick Roger Madeleine. He's not very well-known in Japan as he doesn't have a store there yet, but he's one of the greatest chocolatiers in Paris. He's known as the "artist of chocolate" and the "magician of pralines," and the giant chocolate sculptures displayed in his shop are very popular with tourists. And the chocolate itself is incredibly intense! I don't know any other chocolatier who combines chocolate and spices so intensely! I wonder what kind of thinking goes into creating such chocolates... And new creations keep coming out one after another! More than a genius or a master, he's truly a prodigy! So, honestly, I think it's a love-it-or-hate-it kind of chocolate. But, if you come to France, I think it's a chocolatier you should try at least once!

Every time I visit the shops, the experience is exceptional. A warm welcome, excellent advice, and high-quality chocolates. I've been buying my chocolates and candies from Patrick Roger for years, and I'm never disappointed. I highly recommend it. It's always a real pleasure.

Very good chocolate and fine shop

The best chocolate in Paris. I'm not a big fan of praline, so I bought 4 chocolate bars from Patrick Roger, and the 65% Madagascar was excellent. It had a rich, refined cocoa flavor with a beautiful balance of fruitiness and depth, without being too bitter. The texture was smooth, the taste felt elegant, and it was clearly a high quality chocolate experience. 🙌🏻

Hands down the best chocolate I’ve ever had! Didn’t know gourmet chocolate can be this delicately made. When I took the first bite, the layers and flavors remind me of the first time I went to a micheline restaurant 🥹✨ worth every penny.

I visited there to purchase some chocolates for my mother and the SA was very kind and recommended me several items that may fit my/our taste. Not only my mother was delighted but I was also impressed with kindness of the staff.
