Saint Christophe Restaurant sur Calvi

An unforgettable stay! The location is simply exceptional: right next to the citadel and just steps from the heart of Calvi. The hotel offers perfect amenities and impeccable service. The staff is always attentive and caring, making the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast, with its breathtaking view of the sea and the citadel, is a truly delightful experience. The swimming pool is an added bonus for ending the day perfectly. A special touch that made all the difference: the warm and genuine welcome from the family who own the hotel, which gives the place a unique soul and atmosphere. Everyone knows how difficult it is to choose a hotel based solely on customer reviews or photos posted online. This time, we chose the Saint Christophe in Calvi. And it was a masterstroke. Our first contact with reception was very positive from the start. Although our room was officially available from 4 p.m., they offered to store our luggage so we could explore the Citadel and the old town, located a 5-minute walk from the hotel, without any hassle. What's more, our room was available at 2 p.m.—not the one with a garden view, but the one with a sea view. The room wasn't very spacious, but the bed was—large and comfortable. The room was well-equipped. Personally, we would have preferred a kettle rather than coffee capsules... but if you don't have what you like, you like what you have. Breakfast was plentiful, but... if you came after organized groups, the selection was less extensive and varied. Sometimes we had to ask for bread, a baguette, croissants, or raisin bread. The coffee cups were sometimes poorly washed—obviously, it was the dishwasher's fault—but the staff did everything possible to accommodate all—or almost all—requests from hotel guests. Staff... we have nothing negative to say. Everyone was kind, smiling, welcoming, and willing to help. I would like to highlight (unfortunately, I don't know her name), but I think the management will recognize her: the lady who looked after our room (301). Thank you very much for your work, your discretion, your kindness. If we were to return to Calvi or if someone asked us for a hotel there, we would definitely recommend the Hotel Saint Christophe, even though I'm not giving free publicity 😏. It was – thanks to you too – a wonderful week.

Very well-located hotel near the citadel with magnificent views. The room is well-equipped and very clean. The staff is very welcoming, responsive, attentive, and accommodating.
