25/06/2026: The worst panini I've ever eaten. A rushed frozen one, hair, an unidentified blue bit, paper stuck to the bread. Disgusting. Never again will I spend a penny at your place.

01/09/2026: I'll start by saying that this rating is largely due to the owner's rudeness. The pizzas are decent (except for the fact that all the white pizzas come with cream, which I recommend you remove). The reason for the poor rating is the owner. We dined at the restaurant in August. At 8:45 PM, we called the restaurant and asked if there was room for five. They said yes. We arrived at 9 PM and were given the choice between inside and outside, so we decided to sit outside. Since we didn't want five pizzas, we asked the waiter for just three, which we'd split between the five of us. The perplexed waiter took our order. However, after a while, he came back, yelling and screaming at us that we had a table on the terrace and we were supposed to have five pizzas, one each. It wasn't possible to have three. The rules are clear and he would make an exception, but that wasn't the way to behave (all this while shouting in French). 1 - We arrived at 9 pm and there was room for 5, so the place wasn't crowded, there was no line, and if we hadn't come, they would have sold 3 fewer pizzas; 2 - Politeness dictates that you don't shout at a customer, don't speak condescendingly, and speak in a language everyone understands (only 2 spoke French); 3 - At a restaurant, I order what I want, whether it's 2 pizzas each or half a pizza. In conclusion, I don't recommend the place or the owner. If you really want a pizza, go and try not to deal with them.

30/08/2026: The staff were standouts, just amazing. The food was great. Canelloni soo much flavor, the sauce clearly made grin stay worth cafe, and my pizza just great. Served with a great friendly welcome and a bonus they all spoke English which helped us out a lot. Definitely worth a visit

10/08/2026: The owner has changed since our last visit. The specialties are no longer Corsican but rather Latin American. However, the food is still fresh and homemade (including the fries). The service was impeccable: responsive, quick, helpful, and very friendly. Note that the opening hours listed on Google are incorrect: the restaurant is indeed open in the evening.

04/08/2026: A truly fantastic place! You could easily miss it with its small storefront, but that would be a real shame! The dishes are generous and delicious, and the owners are incredibly welcoming with lots of stories to share. I highly recommend it.

28/09/2026: When you arrive in a city you're discovering for the first time for a holiday in Calvi, there's one exceptional place you absolutely must visit: La Poivrière! A particularly warm welcome and exceptionally friendly staff: you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. You're completely comfortable. A big thank you to Manu, Sabine, and our ever-smiling waiter. The restaurant also boasts an ideal, convenient, and pleasant location. As for the food, the chef delighted us with simply outstanding cuisine, generous and bursting with flavor. Don't hesitate to try the fisherman's platter with lobster and the capon (or scorpionfish) with its divine fresh vegetable tagliatelle, and the mussels from Diana's pond. Even the perfectly tender roasted chicken in its own juices is delicious, all at a reasonable price. The tiramisu is divine, and to finish in style, try a myrtle liqueur or a limoncello. A truly wonderful place that you'll want to return to without hesitation. Thank you to the whole team! Don't hesitate, go for it!!!

27/09/2026: Very unhelpful staff. We were served an entrecote that was obviously spoiled, had a nauseating smell, and tasted disgusting. The dish was rejected and sent back to the kitchen. Both the waitress and the chef tried to make us believe it was good, but they didn't bother to offer an alternative.

19/10/2026: I had already met this pizza maker in Saint-Florent, Corsica. His pizza is incomparable to any other. I was passing through Nice, and when I saw it was the same place, I went back there specifically to taste his delicious pizza again. I recommend Piazetta to everyone; a visit is a must.

19/09/2026: We were very well received, the food is excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed it, a very nice place, the staff are very kind and the location with a view of the sea and the citadel of Calvi is simply magnificent.

30/09/2026: I asked for a table for 8 persons, and the first answer was, "We don't accept credit cards." I asked in French because I speak French.

19/10/2026: ✨✨✨👉😋 in the middle of the most touristic streets, we found this exceptional restaurant with a relatively fair prices and were positively surprised by delicious food 😁✨😁we took the Corse menue. The service was more an excellent, we had a nice chat with the waiter and enjoyed an overall relaxed great atmosphere with Corse music in the background. Highly recommend it👌👍✨🌟✨
