Saint Honore sur Veretz

We contacted Eric based on his social media presence. However, getting in touch was complicated: right up until two days before our wedding, we were stressed about having to answer simple questions that should have been resolved long ago (the reception venue address was requested repeatedly, the dessert selection was unclear, etc.). My husband wanted to change caterers, but I refused because we only had 15 guests. For 100 people, we would never have booked him. He had no sense of organization, a lack of transparency regarding the quote, and, to top it off, some unpleasant surprises when it came time to pay the balance. During our first meeting, he told us he was in a dispute with a client who refused to pay... and he ended up doing the same thing to us. We paid for peace of mind, but what a disappointment! My husband signed a document confirming that the staff had finished at 12:15 a.m., but Eric charged us for an additional 30 minutes, as well as an unannounced surcharge for desserts. If we were to rate only the day itself, which was managed by Guillaume and Aurore, we would have given it 5 stars. They were attentive and responsive, and all our guests appreciated them. The meal was fabulous, and they adapted perfectly to the venue. Unfortunately, that's not everything: the before and after also matter, and they left us with a bitter taste.

Delicious meal, very well served... very pleasant staff... I'll definitely be back!

As usual, the welcome, service, and atmosphere were impeccable, all in a perfectly air-conditioned room. Book before you go and you're guaranteed a wonderful time. Please note: summer holidays from August 1st to 25th, 2026.

After searching online, I looked at what was on offer and saw so many tempting dishes. After a quick chat, I decided on the lobster à l'armoricaine for six people. It was my first time, and it was a real treat. Moreover, since my partner doesn't tolerate dairy well, I was spontaneously offered a fish fillet with poached vegetables. After we all enjoyed the lobster for lunch, we had the fish for dinner. Everything was a true delight for the taste buds. This establishment is highly recommended for its warm welcome, friendliness, simplicity, and culinary pleasure. Thank you also to the chefs for these delicious dishes.
