The food was good and the staff friendly, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by several negative points. The service was very slow throughout the meal, compounded by several power outages in the restaurant. We were seated near the kitchen, and the atmosphere wasn't very pleasant: the owner and waitresses were shouting regularly, creating an impression of tension and disorganization. The organization seemed rather complicated, and this was reflected in the service. This is all the more disappointing given that the bill remained quite high considering the quality of service. In the end, the food was decent, but the overall experience was rather disappointing.

A very charming restaurant at the foot of the village church. The February 14th menu was disappointing because, in our opinion, it didn't live up to the restaurant's usual standards. The welcome was lukewarm after a long wait at the entrance, with no attention paid to us. Overall, the meal was original but lacked flavor. Too much originality, but not enough taste. For the starter, we had to ask for an item that had been listed, for the main course, we had to ask for it to be reheated, and the desserts were bland. We wondered if the chef had even tasted the menu before serving it. The manager's reprimand of his waitress should not have been delivered in front of us; it was an awkward moment for the customer.

The dishes were delicious and refined. Impeccable service. Bravo to the waiters and waitresses! Very little wait between courses. We felt pampered. The white and red wines, as well as the champagne, lived up to the quality of the restaurant and its ingredients. The only slight drawback: the dessert listed on the menu for the occasion didn't quite match the description (no vanilla ice cream, and we had to search for chocolate), but we politely mentioned it to our server. We're already looking forward to the upcoming brunch 😌😌☺️☺️ I highly recommend the downstairs cellar room, which is wonderful.

We came with friends and received a very warm welcome. Every member of staff was pleasant. The service was impeccable; they were attentive to ensuring we had everything we needed. On our first visit, we were treated to the Valentine's Day menu. It was a delightful experience, full of wonderful flavors, all made with high-quality ingredients. We had a lovely time and will gladly return. We highly recommend it.

I was quite disappointed with this restaurant. The food was very bland in my opinion. I chose this restaurant based on a recommendation because I rarely eat out. The poached egg was overcooked, the asparagus was unseasoned, and the same went for the vegetables in the dish. The sauce for the beef wasn't nearly thick enough, as confirmed by other photos in the reviews. The bill was rather steep for the experience. The service, however, was very good, as was the welcome. 👌🏻

A truly beautiful and charming spot in a small village that makes you forget you're in Essonne. The restaurant is warm and inviting. All the staff are welcoming and pleasant. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful time at Saint Louis thanks to the quality of the food and the kindness and professionalism of the team. And the little guessing game at the end of the meal is a great way to connect with the customers.
