I highly recommend this Japanese restaurant. The dishes are of excellent quality, very fresh, and carefully prepared. Authentic flavors and beautiful presentation are evident in every plate. The service is pleasant and attentive, and the restaurant has a calm and welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal of excellent Japanese cuisine.

One of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to! The sushi and maki are made fresh to order, they have a variety of fish, not just salmon and tuna, all very fresh, and the dishes are very authentic, served with pickled radish, among other things. The miso soup was also incredible; I've never tasted one so good! On top of that, the owners were absolutely lovely ❤️

A wonderful discovery in the heart of La Rochelle! Having numerous allergies and intolerances, I very rarely eat out. However, I wanted to try a sushi restaurant, and the reviews of Sakura piqued my curiosity. So I decided to see for myself… and what a treat! Without a doubt, the best Japanese restaurant I've ever eaten at. The fish is remarkably fresh, of excellent quality, and very tender. The skewers melt in your mouth, the sauces are delicious; you can clearly taste the expertise and the homemade quality. The storefront is very simple and the decor a bit retro, but that's precisely what gives the establishment its charm. The staff is extremely pleasant, attentive, and helpful. Admittedly, there's a bit of a wait, but that's because the dishes are prepared to order. An address to discover without hesitation… you can go there with your eyes closed!
