The place is pleasant, the welcome is warm, and the pastries and drinks are really very good. The major downside is that it's too crowded and you can't hear yourself speak (it feels like a cafeteria), which is a real shame. The only people who weren't speaking loudly were a group of Asian tourists. As for prices, expect to pay around €10 per person, depending on the desserts and drinks.

Located inside the old town in Mulhouse, the Gourmandise is a nice place for eat good food at lunch or dinner or enjoy a coffee, tea with excellent sweeteners!

What a coquettish breakfast café; if you are after an Instagrammable authentic Mulhouse morning coffee shop this is the place for you! There was reasonable amount of choice in terms of baked goods and lots of choice in terms of hot drinks. We did not need to make a reservation, we came on a weekday morning and immediately found a free table to sit at. There was a constant stream of customers, some sat down, some took food/drinks on the go, in either case, you can tell this is a popular place with the locals. The staff were friendly and spoke reasonable amount of English. The prices were acceptable. Overall, this is felt more like a place to see and be seen than to eat a hearty breakfast before a long day of working or sightseeing, however it is brilliant at being that picturesque french café! I do recommend, we enjoyed the visit!

A decadent and visually stunning pastry. A truly rich and complex ganache. A jasmine tea, though somewhat muted in its floral notes, is decently delicate and the mouth-watering effect is present. Bravo!
