San Silvano sur Ivry-La-Bataille

We came as a couple on Saturday at lunchtime and received a warm welcome. My wife had a lasagna served with a lovely salad, which was very good. I had a veal saltimbocca with fries and salad; it had been a long time since I'd had such a tender veal cutlet. The sauce was excellent, and the portion was very generous. The service was good, professional, and the price was exceptional. I'll be back soon and highly recommend it.

A reliable local spot, I must have first eaten there almost 20 years ago. Back then, they mostly did takeaway pizzas, but it's always a pleasure to dine in from time to time. The atmosphere is quite warm and friendly, and the staff are pleasant. The prices are reasonable. My only comment would be that back then, they offered a Coppa pizza with a tomato base and a dollop of crème fraîche, which hasn't been the case for a long time, and it was sadly my favorite, haha. If you ever get the idea to bring it back to the menu... anyway, I recommend it.

Everything is perfect in every way. As soon as you enter this restaurant, you immediately feel at ease. The service is impeccable, the dishes are very tasty. You think you should find another restaurant to change things up a bit and discover new flavors, but no, you always return to San Silvano. When you are very satisfied, you remain loyal. 🙂😉

A disappointing experience this Saturday evening. We waited 30 minutes before having to ask for our aperitif order to be taken ourselves. As for the main courses, despite clearly specifying our preferences when ordering, my pizza arrived with mushrooms. The waitress acknowledged the mistake, but when the bill came, there was no gesture of goodwill or even an apology. Worse still, the cashier dismissed our complaints. A regrettable lack of professionalism.

The setting is very pretty and the food is excellent at a more than reasonable price. The service is perfect. I highly recommend it.

An excellent Valentine's Day evening at San Silvano, thank you to the whole team for their kindness and attentiveness, and a big congratulations to the chef for his incredible cuisine. Everything was perfect as usual, but the Valentine's Day menu was an explosion of flavors!!!

Areas for improvement: Reception; the waiter wasn't smiling and seemed a bit out of it. The salmon starter was too dry, and the glass of wine was too small. Positive points: The food was good, and the owner was very friendly.
