A family outing where the welcome was very friendly despite the crowds, our server was very pleasant and the food was excellent. To do and redo without moderation

We were there for dinner. With a bit of a wait, which was absolutely fine. A nice waiter served us. Food very tasty, reasonably priced. It's very pleasant to sit outside.

Nogle gange skal man bare have et enkelt måltid, og til dette perspektiv tjente vores besøg fint. Tjenerne var også hurtige og opmærksomme og bidrog til en god oplevelse. Men selve maden var ikke mere end middelmådig og derfor den lidt lunke vurdering.

Passando verso l'ora di pranzo siamo stati attratti dai bei piatti ed anche abbondanti. Devo dire che non siamo rimasti delusi. Il menù è vario e consiglio in particolare di provare i rosti (specialità della casa) e la birra. I prezzi sono corretti considerando anche le porzioni. Non si prenota ma ci si mette in coda. Noi essendo in due abbiamo sempre trovato velocemente posto. Il servizio è veloce e il personale veramente molto gentile e simpatico. Noi ci siamo tornati diverse volte e lo consiglio a tutti.

21/07/2024: For a hotel picked off on the internet we couldn’t have made a better choice. Right in the centre of town for the solstice music festivities that we had no idea was going on! Knowing we had a secure base for the bike and our gear meant that we could get out and explore the town. Our one night stop over just didn’t allow us enough time to fully explore, but Colmar is like stepping back into the 15th century (give or take a century or two). It is like a time warp and is so beautiful. Great restaurants and, at this festival time, different music at almost every street corner. We’ll certainly be back (by car - I can’t stand the rain as the song goes) and take more time to explore the town using the wonderful Hotel Rapp as our base. You should visit too 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
10/07/2024: Very welcoming staff, this made the stay very pleasant. The breakfast room is spacious and quiet. It’s the perfect calm to start the day gently!
