As soon as we come to Colmar, we will eat at Schwendi. Special mention to our server Rares, super kind, smiling, attentive. We enjoyed ourselves as usual. We will come back!!!!!

One of the best things you can find in Colmar. Atmosphere and food of the place, and at least they serve extended hours. The spectacular goat roesti!

I was there last weekend! Nice location, good food and the service was amazing! Our waiter, Rares, was really friendly, helpful and he had a good sense of humor. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Great time spent in this restaurant, very good traditional cuisine, nothing to add on that. The service was absolutely brilliant, reflecting the good humor of Alsace + that of the north 👌 Perfect atmosphere to have a great time!!

Loved the German vibe of this restaurant! They have both indoor and outdoor seating! We ate there twice and enjoyed the meal both times! Had the Onion Soup, Salad, and Wiener Schnitzel. Delicious!

Another of the restaurants in the heart of old Colmar, this gets away with providing a mediocre experience and average food. Reservations are not possible, so we had to wait around 20 minutes for a table for two at around 7pm on wet and cool Monday evening. The table was squeezed into a tiny area (c.8sq.m. cheek by jowel with four other tables. Whilst the service was prompt and pleasant, the food failed to deliver good value for money. My Wiener Schnitzel was dry and overcooked while my wife's rösti was a poor imitation of the one that la Pergola served on the previous evening.

17/09/2024: A word! Amazing. While traveling this week in Colmar, I wanted meat 🥩. Well I was served! A magnificent piece on hot stone with fries and salad 🥗 the meat was really great, we cut it like butter! And I, who am a big eater, couldn't have dessert because it was so plentiful! I usually never go out to a restaurant alone, it's a bit sad but hey, given that I'm here for work I went for it and I'm really not disappointed! The gentleman in the dining room who served me was very kind! And little care throughout the meal! It's so nice to have someone so wonderful! (he very kindly put the bouvoir on me as tradition dictates) 🥰Thank you very much you gave me a pleasant evening! It will be a very nice souvenir of Colmar 😊 I recommend 1000%

24/09/2024: I was perplexed at first when I saw the prices, but when I saw the plate arrive, I understood... Be careful, reserved for big eaters! 🤣 The meat is of very good quality, the service is impeccable. Unmissable restaurant. Well done ! 👏👏👏
23/09/2024: We start with an armored parking lot. The room is nice and so are the staff. Very smiling indeed. Obviously we come here for heavy stuff. Almost gargantuan. Some dishes seem successful so perhaps just the lamb shank is without much flavor because the tartes flambées were considered excellent. Too bad for me then
