Lovely spot for seafood on a classic Parisian terrasse with good service and a variety of fresh oysters and shellfish. Limited choice of main course dishes and wine offerings.

We were very happy to be back at Comptoir des Mers. Since we found it as a little low key fish restaurant next to a fantastic fish shop, it has been on our list as a ‘must do’ when in Paris. We brought a friend. I decided to choose from the prepared dishes, rather than just taking their large seafood platter. Neither of us were disappointed, we had some very nice fish dishes. Our guest and my wife had the dish of the day which was Monkfish, they were both very enthusiastic. I had a King Crab tartare with avocado, and my main course was crawfish ravioli. Both dishes were delicious, and a very good way to integrate shell fish into a successful dish. In addition, we also had good drinks, of very varied kinds, such as lovely but also surprisingly affordable champagne. I also tried their local Parisian IPA. We had sublime service, where the entire staff was on their toes to give us first-class service. Service is always the icing on the cake
