Having reached the city center of Bayonne from the station, I had never noticed this small bakery. I will come back now because the cakes are very good! You can really taste the butter in the Basque cake and they are quite crunchy...
Returning to the Basque country for the first time in 15 years, I absolutely wanted to re-taste the cake that had marked my childhood to see if it still tasted like a souvenir dish, but now I even believe that it was better, I wish congratulate the pastry chef! I highly recommend that you indulge in such a delight! :D
I know the Basque cake from the neighboring Pyrenees...but HAT!!!!! thank you for this perfect cake for me I stopped by chance and I admit that it is an Olympic killer 🥇...fragrant cream without too much...fresh cherries which bring freshness and a cake perfectly balanced between crispy and soft !!!!!! I promised to get back to you and it's done...I thank you for this wonder and your kindness...good luck to this great company 😋
My sister, Mme Méchain, gave us two Basque cream cakes and I can tell you that it's a killing of death that kills too much, really good, I will go back with great pleasure
Friends brought us a Basque cake today from Christelle and Sébastien Garry. Absolutely exquisite, best Basque cake ever! Ultimately I don't really regret living 200km from their establishment, it will prevent me from gaining weight..
