Sens, France sur Angers

We had a wonderful time, a true feast for the senses! We were constantly surprised by the dishes served. The cuisine was refined and sophisticated! An experience to be repeated. Thank you to the entire restaurant team for their warm welcome and professionalism throughout our meal.

Wonderful culinary discoveries!

What a pleasure it was for us to discover our dishes without knowing in advance what ingredients were used! The ingredients were beautifully prepared. The service was truly perfect.

A wonderful dinner at Sens restaurant; we opted for the three-course Terroir menu. Offering a more accessible menu for discovering the restaurant was a great idea. The food and wine/non-alcoholic beverage pairings were very interesting and well-chosen, especially the non-alcoholic options, which we found quite sophisticated. The intimate atmosphere and attentive staff made for a delightful experience.

Very pleasant setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Unexpected flavors. Well done to the chef! However, there was no ice bucket to keep the wine chilled, and only one pepper mill for the entire restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant! A blind tasting menu added a touch of excitement and interactiveness that not only challenged our palates, it kept us entirely focused on the dining experience - the creativity, playfulness, presentation, quality of ingredients, masterful marriage of cooking and international ingredients. Did I mention daily menu specials inspired by local purveyor & season. On a personal note, Stephen (sommelier) elevated each dish to a new level with his talented pairing skills. I applaud his palate, knowledge of wines, and deduction techniques. A must on your list if you are visiting Loire Valley.
