The service and setting were very professional, offering a truly authentic Japanese experience. The wagyu shabu-shabu was excellent.

What a memorable experience… if your dream is to pay €50 to €80 per person to be treated like a walking wallet. We came hoping to discover authentic Japanese cuisine. Instead, we discovered a sales pitch for the Wagyu menu, pushed with almost touching insistence. It's the first time in my life I've felt so pressured in a restaurant as if I were dealing with a phone company. There was also a brief moment of grace when we simply asked for room-temperature water instead of ice-cold, and the manager replied, "They can just drink hot water." That's service in its most minimalist form, no doubt. As for the food, let's just say that at this price point, Paris is overflowing with infinitely better restaurants, offering genuine hospitality and quality that justifies the bill. In short, an excellent place… to recommend to your enemies.
