This little bakery was a fantastic discovery. I was looking for the classic and authentic Parisian pain au chocolat, and here I found absolute perfection, probably the best in the city. The experience was further enhanced by the sweetness of the girl who served us. Indescribable goodness... in hindsight, I would have eaten at least three! Unmissable. The downside is that there are no shelves if you want to eat on the premises.

The pastries are good but still a bit expensive.

Very pleasant and friendly service. The traditional baguette 🥖 is excellent and the cakes are pretty good. The flan is good but has an eggy aftertaste – needs improvement.

We got 3 pastries. They were all really good and the service was friendly, however we spend 16€. Definitely check the prices before ordering.

We walked past the shopfront and turned back because the view was so tempting. The food was excellent, from the brioche to the donuts, and even the sandwiches. The only downside was the price... but hey, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! 😁

We bought a mix of pastries to take away. The service was very friendly and the food tasted great. Unfortunately, the area isn't very nice!

Overpriced sandwich with barely any filling, average service… the only positive point was the brioche which was good and soft.

McDonald's

12/08/2026: Very good, and the staff are kind and helpful.
02/08/2026: A huge thank you to the person I spoke to on the phone today. Even though it wasn't your fault, you still agreed to remake my order without me having to pay again. I ordered takeout, got on my bike, and suddenly it rained heavily. I wasn't too far from home, but unfortunately, the bag ripped and fell. So I called McDonald's and explained the situation, and they agreed to remake it. I really want to thank you for this gesture, which I won't forget. On top of that, on the way back, I almost got hit by a car, slipped, and badly hurt my thigh. So McDonald's really helped me out. I order from them very often, and I've never had any problems except for the occasional minor oversight, but they've always been great at resolving the issue. I highly recommend them!

La Vie Est Belle

09/09/2026: Fantastic crêperie with delicious food and beautiful presentation. Definitely the best in Roanne! You won't be disappointed and you'll want to go back. However, it's not always open during the advertised hours. A shame. We would have loved to go, but we couldn't several times.
08/05/2026: We were delighted to find this little crêperie open on May 8th. A wonderful discovery! Delicious galettes with a lovely presentation. Be sure to stop by if you're ever in Roanne.
