Shan Gout sur Paris

One of the most interesting culinary experiences I've ever had! On a small street at the corner of Avenue Daumesnil, this restaurant, with its elegant decor and open kitchen, offers a surprise menu created by the chef, who comes to serve his creations and takes the time to explain them. You learn a lot. It's a cuisine that blends traditional Chinese gastronomy with Western fusion. You can choose between the daily menu, which is either 3 or 6 courses. We made the mistake of ordering the 3-course menu today, so we'll definitely be back for the 6-course! It's a cuisine full of flavor and creativity, while still respecting the traditions of Chinese cuisine. The red tea I ordered was delicious and prepared with impeccable skill! You could order more rice, which had a surprising flavor because it contained a few surprises (which I'll let you discover for yourself) if you were still hungry! The pear, grapefruit, and liqueur dessert was perfectly balanced! After the meal, you feel light, yet you've had a very good lunch, full of energy—the kind that brings a sense of balance to your body. A must-try!

There's something magical about it... 20 seats. It doesn't even say "Restaurant" on the outside. But the food is excellent in a family-friendly atmosphere with an open kitchen. An intimate spot in Paris. Definitely worth a visit.

Everything was perfect!!!! I recommend it

There were four of us at dinner, including a Vietnamese friend and a Japanese friend. Everyone loved it! The cuisine is a fusion of Chinese and French traditions. The dumplings are truly delicious, with a very pronounced spinach and herb flavor. The food is homemade, and the ingredients are fresh. We didn't try the desserts, though. The only slight drawback was the very limited selection of drinks. Not even a simple lemonade.

We tried this restaurant by chance after a walk along the greenway, it was a pure delight, the waitress was lovely and the food was very original and divine!!!

A wonderful discovery at Shan Goût! I started with beef as an appetizer, which was perfectly seasoned and well-balanced. For my main course, I had the shrimp with sticky rice: a real treat. The flavors are delicate, with a subtle use of spices that allows the other ingredients to shine. We particularly appreciated the cuisine, which blends French ingredients with Chinese influences, creating a subtle and successful fusion. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious and unique dining experience!
