The Emerald menu is particularly well-crafted. The cuisine is of exceptional quality, with varied offerings that surprise and delight throughout the meal. The service is equally impeccable: the team is very attentive, caring, and meticulous. The pace is perfect. All of this unfolds in a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease.

We had the pleasure of dining at Shang Palace last Sunday evening with our family. We had an exceptional time. Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome and attentive, elegant service to the exquisite and delicious food. Each course allowed us to discover the chef's finesse and talent, with whom we had the pleasure of chatting. We particularly enjoyed the Emerald menu, which allowed us to explore the chef's cuisine and culinary world. This wonderful discovery is also thanks to a dear friend. She will know who she is… Thank you to her for introducing us to this restaurant, and thank you to the entire Shang Palace team for this unforgettable experience.

We had the 6-course €178 menu. We started with a €24 mocktail which was ok, but not €24 ok. First course mongolian cabbage salad 7/10 Second course tempura lobster wrapped in a red rice-flour crepe 9/10. Absolutely delicious Third course lobster with eggplant. 9/10, spectacular and tasty Fourth course Peking duck fried skin, with a do-it-yourself wrap arrangement 4/10, the duck skin was very fat and lacked taste. The DIY element was awkward Fifth course Peking Duck pilaf with cabbage 5/10, also DIY, it was tasty but lacked finesse and had the same hoisin-sauce as the previous dish which made it a little boring Desert: strawberry Chinese fantasy 8/10 delicious Tea/Wine €68 arrangement, 4/10 the wines were ok-ish but subpar, the teas were pretty bland Total Bill for 2: €578, which was steep given what we were served. Two memorable dishes and a nice desert couldn’t take away the overall impression that there are issues with price versus quality

We came as a couple to celebrate our anniversary and had a truly memorable experience. We appreciated the warm welcome, the beautiful setting, and the impeccable service, with special mention to the waitress and the sommelier for their excellent wine pairing suggestions. And of course, the quality, finesse, and deliciousness of the dishes themselves. A true gastronomic journey!
