Amazing soup, especially after a hangover. Not expensive at all and the bowl is huge. They make the noodles in front of you.

Okay, I'm giving it a rating, but it's mostly for my wife and son who ate there. I don't eat Asian food myself. (Nothing wrong with that. I'm extremely picky and I don't eat much besides French food, and even then, it depends on what it is 😂). Basically, I'm the one who found the restaurant because my son had been wanting to eat noodles for ages. So I did an internet search, and this one came up in the top 10 in Paris. We went on a Sunday, so some places were closed. This one wasn't too far from where we were staying for the day. So I chose it, and apparently, they loved it. They thought it was absolutely delicious. I'm glad I chose this restaurant for my son.

24/06/2026: The paper-wrapped fish was so delicious! Better than many grilled fish dishes in China! And it had air conditioning! The owner even gave us fans because it was hot!
07/06/2026: We love coming to L'Aigle d'Orient! Everything is delicious and the staff is always friendly! It feels like we're in Sichuan, but in the 9th arrondissement of Paris :-).

03/08/2026: Everything was perfect during the meal: the service, the ambiance, and most importantly, the food: a perfectly balanced blend of flavors and textures that was simply delicious. The ingredients are of very high quality, everything is homemade, the texture of the bao is excellent, the chicken is crispy without being dry, and the noodles are to die for! A sure bet
03/08/2026: One of the finest restaurants in Paris, offering authentic Cantonese cuisine created by the incredibly talented chef Sophie Ya. The welcome is exceptionally warm, with a wonderful team. We highly recommend this delightful establishment.
